- Is it really two-way?
- Yes — choose bidirectional, Google→iCloud only, or iCloud→Google only, per pair. Most people use bidirectional.
- Will it duplicate my events?
- No. An event that already exists on both sides gets linked, not copied a second time.
- What happens with recurring events?
- They sync as real individual occurrences — Google and iCloud each expand recurring series into instances themselves, so Seam is just copying what the calendar APIs already give it.
- How are time zones handled?
- Every event carries a real timestamp from its source calendar; the time zone you set during setup is used for scheduling, not for reinterpreting event times.
- Something specific (a Meet link, an attachment, a guest list) doesn't look right — is that expected?
- Seam copies each event's standard fields. If something you rely on isn't carrying over correctly, that's worth a real look — email hello@seamcal.com with the specific event and we'll check it, rather than us guessing here.
- What if I delete an event?
- The deletion syncs to the other side too. Every change — including deletions — is logged and can be undone.
- Can I undo a sync?
- Yes. The undo window depends on your plan: 7 days on Free, 90 days on Personal, 180 days on Professional and Team.
- What stops a sync from deleting a lot of events by mistake?
- A built-in circuit breaker. If a single sync pass would delete more than a handful of events, Seam stops and asks before touching anything.
- What happens if Google or Apple asks me to sign in again?
- Seam shows exactly which connection needs reauthorizing and walks you through reconnecting it — your pair picks up right where it left off, nothing has to be rebuilt.
