Subscription Terms

Effective: September 27, 2026

These Subscription Terms supplement Seam's general Terms of Service and apply whenever you purchase a paid plan or add-on, whether through Apple's App Store or directly on seamcal.com via Stripe.

Plans and billing unit

Paid plans are billed per active calendar pair (one Google calendar synced with one iCloud calendar), not per user. Each plan includes a maximum number of active pairs, a sync interval, and a sync date window; exact limits for each plan are shown before you subscribe. Pausing a pair frees up its slot in your plan's limit.

Billing periods and auto-renewal

Plans are offered monthly or annually.
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the then-current price for your plan, until cancelled.
The exact price, billing period, and renewal date for your plan are shown before you complete a purchase, and again in your account settings afterward. The price shown in the app or at checkout at the time of purchase is the one that applies.

Free trial

New accounts are eligible for one 5-day trial, with expanded limits, starting when you create your first calendar pair (not when you sign up). No payment method is required for the trial, and it converts to nothing automatically — at the end of the trial, your account simply moves to the free tier unless you choose a paid plan. The trial is available once per account.

How to cancel

Purchased through the App Store: manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions, or via the "Manage Subscription" link in the Seam app. Seam cannot cancel an App Store subscription on your behalf — that's controlled by Apple.
Purchased on seamcal.com via Stripe: manage or cancel anytime from your account's billing page (Stripe Customer Portal), or by emailing hello@seamcal.com.

Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access to your plan's features until the end of the period you already paid for. Downgrading or losing access at the end of a period never deletes calendar events Seam has already created — see the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

Price changes

If we change the price of a plan you're subscribed to, existing subscribers keep their current price until they change plans, cancel, or explicitly agree to the new price (required by Apple for App Store subscriptions); we'll notify you in advance either way.

Right of withdrawal

If you subscribe on seamcal.com as a consumer, you can withdraw within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. At checkout you ask us to start your subscription right away, so if you withdraw, you pay for the days the service was provided until then and we refund the rest. The details and a model withdrawal form are in the Refund Policy. After the 14 days, you can still cancel anytime (see above).
